Forget Me Not, Camposol, is glad to have been able to re-open their weekly meetings. It’s been a long time due to the COVID restrictions that we have been closed, but we are open again and ready to greet clients new and old.

Forget Me Not meetings will continue to take place every Monday at the Social Centre, Camposol B from 10.30am-1.30pm.

There will be two nurses and a number of trained carers within the Forget Me Not group every week. Looking forward, they know that there are a lot of people locally that need the help of a local dementia group. Forget Me Not aims to offer free respite care for carers of people with Alzheimer’s/Dementia or any other long term illness.  The group was created to help not just the person with dementia, but also to give the carer a much needed break for a few hours.

Forget Me Not is always open to new volunteers who would like to be part of their caring volunteer group. No experience is required; just empathy to the cause. Volunteers will need to be ‘double jabbed’ and will have an introductory training programme.

If you feel you could be a volunteer or you know anyone that would benefit from our group, please come along to the Social Centre on Camposol from 10.30am on any Monday.

If you would like a confidential chat, our President Dee is available to discuss your needs and explain our free service. Her direct telephone number is 603 121 416

Keep safe. We hope to see you soon.
