FAST Camposol has seen a particularly busy September with the new committee getting to grips with increased insurance obligations, ensuring the renewal of training certification for existing Responders, recruitment of new Responders as well as assessing equipment to ensure that all remains up to standard post-covid.

If you require our assistance in the event of a medical emergency please call 112 (using the 112 Region de Murcia App if you have it) and then callFAST on 868 487 015.

We are pleased to be able to announce that following an initial comprehensive training course, we now have seven additional level 3 Responders ready for action when required on Camposol (and several have already undertaken active shifts).  This however does need to be just the start of a comprehensive recruitment strategy to ensure that we have sufficient numbers of trained Responders to maintain 24/7 cover for the Camposol community.

Interested or want more information?

Please contact us by emailing or join us at one of our training sessions at the Social Centre, Camposol B at 10am on Tuesday mornings. We will be running a further training course for new Responders – it would be so good to see you there!

During the initial phases of the Covid pandemic, several of our Responders were trained in first aid for mental health as an extension to our life saving service.  However, following problems with the telephone number which was allocated to this, the decision has been made to discontinue the separate mental health line. Should you need to speak with someone for any health issue (be it mental or physical) please call our emergency number 868 487 015.  The Responder on duty will deal appropriately with any emergency issues and arrange for follow up with our newly formed mental health team where necessary.
