As the COVID restrictions are easing, we can get back to some sort of normality. The Camposol Social Centre is now open so we can train and refresh our Responders. We can also train our new Responders. This has been achieved through negotiation between our President and the local authorities. Training resumed early September.

Training on Camposol is on Tuesdays at 9am and Friday at 3pm. If you would like to see what we do and maybe join us as a Responder then come along. You will be made welcome. Present COVID restrictions will apply.
Mr Hamilton (FAST President) and one of the training team (Tony Dwyer) also managed to train a team of people in basic first aid at a Sierra Golf Club in San Javier.
Our President is in discussions with the local authorities regarding the purchase and siting of defibrillators for the Camposol commercial areas. We hope to have an answer soon.
We have been told by Bev Thompson (MABS) that the bed that FAST paid for is now being used for a patient.
If you need medical assistance then call 112 first then call FAST on 868 487 015. We will give assistance and advice normally before an ambulance arrives.
When calling 112 ask for an operator who speaks your language if you are not fluent in Spanish.
The FAST Nurses are out most Monday mornings collecting. It is only with your donations that we can provide this valuable and unique service. When the British Ambassador to Spain visited Camposol he was very impressed with the service we aim to provide.
We have a number of trained Mental Health First Aiders who will listen to you if you are worried or depressed. They can give you information on the help that is available. Call 634 308 362 and speak to one of the team.
We are still planning a Health Fayre for the future, where there will be help and advice on eating healthier and exercises that will keep away those aches and pains. There will also be demonstrations on various things.
We would like to thank the various businesses who give us help and support. To name a few: Alen’s shop, Camposol A, T J Electricals, Camposol B, The Tech Shop, Camposol A and the Golf Club.
Without that support we would not be able to continue.
