FAST is your local First Responder Team on Camposol. We are a group of Volunteers who are fully trained and equipped to deliver urgent first aid assistance, (including use of the automatic external defibrillator), prior to the arrival of an emergency ambulance within the urbanisation of Camposol and Saladillo area.
If you have a medical emergency of any description you should call 112 (or any alternative number provided to you if are covered by private medical insurance) and then call FAST on 868 487 015. Our Responders (who all live on Camposol) will arrive as quickly as possible to provide any vital first aid, as well as practical and emotional support for both the casualty and attendant family/friends. It is now widely recognised that the potential for preserving life, preventing deterioration and promoting recovery is increased with the earliest intervention possible. FAST are there to help you whatever your nationality – free of charge.
With our Annual General Meeting looming (Tuesday 6th June) we are seeking a Vice Secretary alongside our usual pleas for assistance with trip/event organisation – and of course additional Responders. Maybe you have experience in taking minutes, or have good organisational skills? Could you utilise previous presenting skills to lead a coach trip, or would you like to undertake our Bucket Collection? Maybe you are curious about training as a responder?

As previously highlighted, the FAST service is free to anyone. As we do not receive any official funding, we are very reliant on the fundraising activities of our team alongside donations from clubs, groups and individuals. The service is not cheap to run, but we do ensure that every cent donated is put to very good use for the people of Camposol. Our fundraising team continually adds events to our calendar of fun.
