Until April 18 you will be able to enjoy the exhibition “Postcards to remember” in the Library of Puerto de Mazarron.
Antonio Paredes who donated the collection explained how he got hold of this collection of postcards that is now on display: “During the construction boom I had an antiques shop and I used to collect objects and furniture from houses that people were selling or vacating, hence I have recovered a large archive, such as photographs, documents and these postcards.
The oldest postcard is from approximately 1900 and in the collection you can see couples, families, children playing and other daily activities portrayed in an image. “Behind each postcard there is a story and you can see this reflected here”
