Our Easter Camp was great fun! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves despite the unsettled weather conditions. The week before Easter we had a group of twelve kids, ages from 4/12 years taking part in a varied selection of their favourite activities. It’s amazing to see them all mucking in, using their imagination and doing things together. All the kids like taking care of the animals, feeding them, healing cuts and scrapes or even treating allergic reactions. Of course they ride, or they do long-reining or vaulting and they take the horses out for walks in the country – the animal world is full of adventure and excitement.

Poor Mocca has been diagnosed with a cancerous growth. Her life has been one operation after the next. We’re still waiting on the vet’s verdict as to treatment. In the meantime she doesn’t miss an opportunity to play with the kids, run and fetch the ball, or just chase around the arena with the other dogs.

India has made a fantastic improvement after her treatment with Bach Flowers and a respiratory inhaler. She’s a vitally important member of the therapeutic team and her work with the smaller children is invaluable since Magic left us, so well done India! A huge vote of thanks to all your super sponsors.
At last Cavalli Foundation Volunteers’ Course has come to an end. This course, sponsored by Alhama Council, has given valuable training to 12 young ladies who are now ready to offer their services as voluntary veterinary auxiliaries, in therapy sessions, or as volunteers with animal rescue entities.
Very soon we will be adding a brand new section to our website, a Blog starring Nevado, the cockerel who lost his voice. He will be telling his readers all about his life at Cavalli Ranch, news about his book and his many adventures that you’ll discover as soon as his Blog hits the road.
