After the fearful time we lived through during lockdown, the arrival of Summer brought joy and relief to all of us at Cavalli Foundation.  It was such a pleasure to have the children back again and a relief to be able to take up our activities once more, especially as these are our main source of income.

Summer School

Pony Club has made a welcome return and has been joined on the agenda by Summer School with new fun things to do for children from 6 to 14 years of age.

Our animals are born stars!  They love to pose for photographs, so much so that we have designed packages for Photographic Sessions.  A Photographer from Alhama has taken advantage of this offer to do Communion Photo Sessions.  If anyone is interested in doing a Photo Shoot with us, please get in touch for the details.

Horse Assisted Therapy

Therapeutic Riding has been running for almost a month now, getting great results.  The team has been joined by a young Physiotherapist who wants to specialise in Motor Neurone Rehabilitation and Horse Assisted Therapy.

We are very proud to say that one of our rescued pups was recently chosen to form part of a top level Therapeutic Team.  Each Therapy Dog lives as part of the family with the Therapist that guides him.  They are involved in all sorts of therapeutic work taking part in visits to schools, hospitals and prisons. The dogs are only allowed to do so many sessions and afterwards they have their de-stress relaxation time, an absolute essential for all therapy animals
