The Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre all started because of Luceiro. A beautiful stallion, with a horrific eye injury due to something sharp in his stable. He was then left there living in semi darkness, with little human contact, having his food pushed through the bars. The owner was going to sell him for meat. The money was raised to save Luceiro from being slaughtered and remove his infected eye. We offered him a home here with us, and so started the Rescue Centre!
