The next Away Day will be at Altorreal on Monday 7th October. Sponsored price for golf with a buggy is 40€ for CGA members. Non-members welcome but the price will be 45€. On our return to Camposol an optional meal has been arranged at Camposol Golf Club. There is also a sheet asking for your menu choice for the meal afterwards or you can email Betty with your requirements.
Fire Fighters –v- Police Competition
This annual competition will take place on Friday 6th September. This fun-packed event has lots of good natured banter between the teams. It will be a 4 Ball Better Ball Match Play Comp. There are 6 Firemen and 3 Policemen coming over from the UK especially to play in it. They come every year as they find it such an enjoyable event. If you are not a Fireman or a Policeman (or woman in both cases), a team will be nominated for you. We already have 54 people down on the signup sheet who are eager to participate in this fun game. The results will be in the next month’s edition of the Costa Cálida Chronicle.
CGA Charity Quiz
This has been arranged at The Club House on 8th November. All the monies raised are for our nominated local Charities FAST, MABS & Forget Me Not who in their turn help the residents of Camposol so much. The entrance fee for the Quiz will be 5€ and there is an optional supper of Chicken Curry/Chilli, both served with rice for 5€ pp. We hope you will assist us again by taking part, having a fun evening whilst boosting funds for these very worthy charities.
CGA Christmas Party
This has been booked at the Hotel Playa Grande for 14th December with entertainment by Carolynn May. Although forced upon us, it will make a pleasant change to go somewhere different. We are sure the party will be the great success we are accustomed to.
