CGA Men’s Wednesday Group Competition – 18^th August

The temperature started in the mid 70’s and gradually rose to the 90’s, but this did not stop some players performing to a high standard as the results will show.

Division 1:   

1^st D Jones with a great score of 40 points

2^nd P Coulstock 37 points

3^rd D Lewis 36 points 

4^th E Toye 35 points

Division 2: 

1^st G Davies 41 points

2^nd S Rowbotham 38 points

3^rd T Andrew 36 points

There was only one 2, so all the money went to D Noakes.

Once again well played to all winners in very hot conditions and for a great turn out of players 28 in all.  The course is still in good condition.

CGA Men’s Competition’s Secretary

Camposol Golf Association Autumn Dinner/Dance

This was held at the Amapola Restaurant/Playa del Sol Hotel in Bolnuevo on 10^th September. It was a roaring success mainly due to Carolynn May’s brilliant entertaining. On a lovely balmy evening, round tables of 10 were set up outside around the courtyard and swimming pool. It looked lovely.  The staff and especially Paco had worked very hard and continued to do so during the course of the evening.  It was such a relief to be able to get out, dress up and feel everything was getting back to normal. 

Everybody said how much they had enjoyed the evening and what was the date of our Christmas Dinner? At this moment in time we have not even thought about.

We are holding a Charity Quiz Night on 4^th November at the Club House, Camposol C.  The proceeds will be for FAST, MABS and Age Concern. We do hope you will come along and have a fun night out whilst helping those that support us.
