December and Captain’s Drive-In Competition – Thursday 12th December

52 players, fuelled by mulled wine and mince pies, contested the competition, which was preceded by the Captain’s Drive-In on the 9th hole. Fortunately for the Captain, the drive went straight down the middle of the fairway! Well done to Sam Armitage for putting his flag nearest to where the drive ended up (in the bunker on this occasion). Typical of Sam’s generosity; he donated his winnings back into the Captain’s charities.

CGA Christmas Party

A great time was had by all at the Playa Grande on 14th December.   Carolynn May had everyone rocking on the dance floor from the very first song and the dance floor remained full until she finished at 12am.  The venue proved to be a real winner and the service was very friendly and attentive.  We will certainly be using this venue again.
