Wednesday 11th January was our first CGA Competition in the New Year. The weather was again in the high 70ºs but the wind was a major factor. Conditions on the back 9 were difficult, with the final few holes making play very hard.

Ladies’ Tuesday Group
On Tuesday 20th December the ladies golf group held their Christmas competition. The day was fine and sunny and all received goody bags which included one of Bernie’s delicious sausage rolls, eaten on the 13th hole with a glass of cava to celebrate Jean O’Conner’s birthday. A very competitive round of golf was followed by an excellent Christmas lunch at the Trevi Bar and afterwards with some dancing and karaoke afterwards.
