Camposol Golf Association Away Days
The CGA has booked an Away Day at Altorreal for Monday 7th October. Sponsored price for golf with a buggy is 40€ for CGA Members. Non-members are welcome, but the price will be 45€. Firemen –v- Policemen Competition
This Annual Competition will take place on the 6th September. This fun-packed event has lots of good natured banter between the teams. It is a 4 Ball Better Ball Match Play Comp. 6 Firemen and 3 Policemen are coming over from the UK especially to play in the competition. They come every year as they find it such an enjoyable event. If you are not a Fireman or a Policeman a team will be nominated for you. 44 participants took part last year and we are hoping for a similar turn out this year. The sign-up sheet will be put up in the Gent’s Changing Room in The Club House shortly.
CGA Charity Donations
The amount raised from the two CGA Charity Quizzes which took place on the 5th April and 2nd November last was 1,950€. This has now been divided equally into 650€ for each for our named charities FAST, MABS & Forget Me Not. These cheques were recently presented to the three Charities.
We would like to thank everyone who made it possible to raise this amount by supporting these events. The next Quiz will be in early November and we hope you will assist us again by attending, thereby boosting funds for these very worthy charities.
Camposol Golf Association Christmas Party
This has now been booked at the Hotel Playa Grande for 14th December. Entertainment will be provided by Carolynn May. This is the first time the CGA has booked this venue for the Christmas Party as we usually reserve Costas Celebration Rooms which have always proved popular. Unfortunately Costas have closed their events rooms for 12 months for refurbishment. It will make a pleasant change to go somewhere different and we are sure the party will be the great success we are accustomed to.
