Camposol Golf Association Men’s Wednesday Group
1st March was a fresh brisk morning with only 20 players taking part, as a few of our members were away celebrating birthdays in Benidorm! The Competition was a simple 2 from 4 Stableford. There was only one 2 scored on the day so well done Neil Smith. N Morgan put in a great score with 43 points which helped his team into first place.
1st – N Morgan, G Allen & T Colvin – 88 points
2nd – N Smith, M. Green, E Toye & J Leahy – 85 points.
3rd – B Purkis, D Plant, H Pearson – 83 points.
We had one cancellation, so the 3 balls had to pick cards.
Wednesday Group’s 8th March Competition
There were 28 players who took to the course for the monthly h/cp qualifier. Conditions started well for scoring, but after a couple of hours playing, the wind got up and as usual scoring became difficult. This was reflected in the scores below. There were only two 2’s, one of them being Dennis Jones chipping in from 40 feet on hole 13.

Division 1
1st – D Griffiths – 33 points
2nd – D Deegan – 32 points
