February has been cold and now it’s March.  1st March is St David’s Day when Wales celebrates its patron saint. Let us hope March is the start of warmer weather.

Our Volunteers have braved the cold February weather to carry on watering and weeding every wednesday. We have also continued trimming the palm trees on the dual carriageway. Average 6 people each week working to keep the sector looking good. If you would like to offer your help to our Volunteers, please turn up at the Welcome Wall at 9am on Wednesday mornings and your work will be rewarded with a free breakfast. There are plenty of lighter duties we need help with including Bucket Collections.

The weekly Bucket Collection continues to fund all the work that we do and we are grateful to all of you who donate every Wednesday.

If you live on, or have a holiday home on Camposol C, you may have noticed how clean and weed-free most of our roads are. This is due to the work each Monday of Green Fingers’ Maintenance Scheme. Our team ensures the Calles of Lower Sector C are clean, tidy and weed free. If you would like to join the scheme, it costs just €15 a quarter to keep your road tidy and weed-free. Contact our Chairman John Osborne (Tel 634 325 427) for more information.
