Camposol C Green Fingers Gardening Group have kept going throughout the very hot and humid summer months.
The maintenance team and volunteers have been focusing on watering the trees and plants; weeding the areas that have shingle put down; trimming the many trees and bushes; pruning the plants and filling in some of the numerous potholes that we have on our sector.
If you live on lower sector C and have a couple of hours to spare on Wednesday mornings, why not pop along and help the other volunteers.
On the 8th July Green Fingers were the beneficiary of the raffle that was held during the Sector A Saturday Night Entertainment held outside Cat’s Bar, Tel’s Bar and Rendezvous Café.
A fantastic night saw GlamJam entertain nearly 300 people and also raise a stupendous 640€ for Green Fingers.
Green Fingers have further been selected as the beneficiary of the raffle that will be held during the performance of the fantastic Bella Luna outside the same bars on Thursday 7th September. Tickets cost 2€ per person and they can be bought from either of the venues.
If you have any items that can be donated as raffle prizes please drop them off at Green Fingers collection point at the bottom of the dual carriageway on Wednesday mornings.
