Unfortunately Spring has brought out more than the early flowers and new plant growth. Readers may recall that B Clean had decided to discontinue trying to tidy up around the green skips in the lower car park due to the amount of non-domestic rubbish that was being dumped in and by them. Despite the availability of the nearby Ecoparque, more and more rubbish is accumulating, including builders’ waste and sacks. At the time of writing, the council appears to have stopped clearing the containers, so the situation is going to deteriorate very rapidly.

As if that wasn’t bad enough for Camposol’s appearance, we are now having plants stolen from public areas and mindless vandalism. These problems are not confined to Camposol B of course.
On a more positive note, the rest area project is progressing and this year’s assault on the ever-present weeds has commenced. The Work Party has been busy as usual and would welcome more volunteers to try to keep the sector looking pleasant for residents and visitors.
Finally, once again, thanks are due to Colin Thackwell for his continuing cycle challenges which bring in welcome and much needed donations.
