Well, we’re out of Summer officially, but at the time of writing, the sun is still shining and it’s very humid, but the winds are increasing a bit.
The work party started up a week or two before the end of September when the area around the green skips on Camposol lower B car park were tidied up. Some of this work has been undertaken during the break, but people are still dumping stuff in bags and of course, leaving material which is not appropriate for these skips. Another job which will be started is the annual trimming of the False Pepper trees down by the rambla road.

During the break the weeds continued to grow and the fly-tippers have continued to dump and the vandals have continued to cause damage. One suspects that there is a connection between the three lifeforms as they all probably share a similar IQ. At least the weeds do what they do as they haven’t any options!

As the volunteers will be out and about, we hope that you will make certain that you pop some of your hard-earned cash into the Collection Buckets.
As usual, this article concludes with another request for volunteers. Please, please give some thought to helping as the current turn-out of 4 people really isn’t anywhere near enough to keep Camposol B looking attractive and tidy.
