Our two shops located in Mazarrón Town, and Roldan are very important sources of income to keep the charity afloat on a day-to-day basis. The shop in Mazarrón is large and ideally we would like 4 people to work each day to cover the numerous jobs that need doing, from sorting and pricing, cleaning, hanging, selling, working behind the counter and displaying items. We are only asking for 4 hours a day once a week although if you want to do more – no problem! We work as a team and always support each another. No previous experience is necessary and it is a great way to meet new people and practice your Spanish. If you think you would like to join our friendly team, give me a call. Gentlemen this is not only aimed at the ladies! We are always in need of some muscle in addition to the jobs previously mentioned. This also applies to our shop in Roldan. Although smaller, we are always in need of more volunteers.

Our new initiative at The Sanctuary in La Paca is to offer voluntary work experience in exchange for free accommodation. On a daily basis you would be feeding, cleaning and observing the donkeys. With 30,000 square metres of land, it is a lot to upkeep. We are still working on having it open by the end of the year, so in addition to the donkeys, there would be other odd jobs to do. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job and gain valuable experience working with equines and animal care. No two days are the same and you would be located in the beautiful countryside near Lorca. What’s not to like? Please get in touch with me: Tel 690 906 565 or via Whatsapp Email email@example.com

We are so proud of all our achievements since we first started in August 2008. Now we have approximately 90 equines in our care and have rehomed in excess of 100 dogs worldwide, along with other small animals. This has taken a massive amount of commitment from Kevin and me and along with our army of volunteers, donors, supporters, adopters and followers we have achieved so much culminating in The Sanctuary. When we open it to the public, you will be able to get up close to the donkeys, feed and groom them and enjoy a refreshing drink with a bite to eat, whilst sitting on our terrace enjoying the stunning views. This means we have to work even harder to raise funds for this initiative, so if you would like to hold a fund raising event for us, or would be willing to have one of our donation tins in your business, call or message me on 690 906 565
