Hello December!
Don’t you just love December; so many things going on everywhere. You could fill every day for sure.
A special treat for all our wonderful supporters and anyone really who loves donkeys is Monday 19th December. From 11.30am-1.30pm we will be on Camposol B carpark opposite the petrol station, in our usual spot offering mulled wine, soft drinks and mince pies. We will also have 1 or 2 donkeys who will make you smile. Please come and say hello, have a little tipple with us and make a fuss of the donkeys. They really adore attention. Don’t forget your carrots and apples. They love them too!
My donkeys are very clever. They would like you to ask Santa for a Christmas dinner for them as sometimes they get forgotten. For €5 Santa would deliver them a bale of alfalfa around 17th December which will feed them throughout the festive season. We are hoping Santa will bring all 108 donkeys a Christmas dinner. Ho Ho Ho!
Another event we are really excited about is a live Nativity on Saturday 17th December organized by St Nicolas Church. This will be on Camposol A car park at 4pm. Please come and show your support.
Our Coach Trip to Benidorm in October was super and raised much needed funds to pay our vet fees. Thank you to everyone who helped make the trip a success. A good day was had by all.

Over the last 2 months we have had quite a few donkeys poorly leaving us no choice but to take them to the hospital. Sadly that always comes with a bill, so at the moment the bill is around €5,000! We need to do more fundraising, so if anyone has any ideas please let us know. Better still come and help organize it.
Two months ago we found the saddest of girls under our bush outside. We named her Sophia. If you check our Fb page you will see her story. She has now started her treatment for Leishmania, but look at the difference! They say a picture tells a thousand words. These photos were taken just 6 weeks apart.
With 108 donkeys we really do need your support. I do ask myself, who in their right minds would have 108 donkeys!! These animals are supposed to be protected! They are beautiful animals, yet so badly abused hence why we have 108. Together we can help and save more.

Every Monday we will be in the car park on the roundabout of Camposol B and you can drop donations off from 11.30am-1.30pm. Larger items can be collected by prior arrangement. Items can also be dropped off at our shops in Roldan or Mazarrón 11.30am – 1.30pm.
