NEW YEARS DAY SWIM – JANUARY 1ST 2022 AT 1PM
A record number of 47 amazing swimmers braved the jellyfish, donned their fancy dress and took to the sea for our annual fundraiser. This year we supplied every swimmer with hot soup and brandy along with a delicious vegetable paella and hot drink kindly donated by Zambuca Beach Bar. All sponsorship monies will be in by the 31st of January and we will announce the total in mid February!
OUR SOCIAL CENTRE HAS EVENTS EVERY WEEKDAY FROM 10AM – 1PM
Mondays you can join us for tea and coffee and our popular Stitch, Knit and Natter club.
Tuesdays Our Vintage Shop is open between 10am till 1pm to grab a pre-loved bargain or collect reserved items. We also have afternoon tea (2-4pm) & bingo on 8th, craft masterclass on 15th (nominal fee of 5€), coffee morning on 22nd, drop in for a cuppa and a chat on 1 March.
Wednesdays are all things Health and Wellness where you can take a break from the rush of everyday life and concentrate on your mindfulness and make new friends.
Thursdays are The Book Club for you keen bookworms with loads of books to choose from and lively literary group chat. We currently have for sale a huge selection of books and 3 Paperbacks are just €1.
Fridays are our Men Only session as we give the boys the opportunity to chat about all the things important to them over a hot cup of tea or coffee!
There’s always someone available to chat or answer queries every weekday so just drop in and say hi.
ST VALENTINE’S DINNER DANCE – MONDAY 14th FEBRUARY
We are delighted to be holding it at the newly re-opening Amor Del Mar in Puerto De Mazarrón Marina.
For just €25 per person the evening includes a gorgeous 3 course St Valentine’s Meal, a glass of pink Cava on arrival and the fabulous Michel Havana, the man of 1000 voices entertaining us all night. Whether single or a couple, what could be more romantic than all of that topped off with the sounds of the ocean!
This is a ticketed event and these can only be purchased from our Social Centre in advance. Tickets are available to purchase from Monday 24th January and are €25 per person. This is a semi formal event so we ask that attendees please dress to impress.
