ADAPT: Panto Weekend…..Oh yes it is……Oh no it isn’t!
The weekend at the beginning of December, was normally the time, when the ADAPT Theatre Group would have been treading the boards in many wild and wonderful costumes to entertain both English and Spanish speaking audiences with a unique mix of language and laughter.
For the past ten years the Theatre Group, along with local schoolchildren, have produced a variety of pantomimes; the proceeds of which, normally go to local Spanish Charities.
ADAPT is an Association of English speaking people, based in San Pedro del Pinatar. Unfortunately the monthly meetings, many ADAPT groups and other fund raising activities have had to be postponed due to COVID restrictions. However, in order to make up for the funds that we are unable to raise this year for El Samaritano Association, we have set up two crowd funding appeals; one in English and one in Spanish.

ADAPT, San Pedro is a vibrant and growing Association, with two simple aims:
The wellbeing of our English speaking members.
The integration of our members into the wider Spanish Community.
Whilst our activities are based in San Pedro del Pinatar, you do not have to be a resident here to join us. We normally meet on the first Saturday of every month at the Pensionista Centre, Lo Pagan, Murcia, at 10.30am.
We have a theatre group, a metal detecting group, a seasonal choir and fundraising activities. Possible future activities: walking, painting, or crafts.
