Mazarrón hosts until January 6 a varied agenda of activities ranging from craft workshops and storytelling in municipal libraries, as well as singing and mass and not forgetting traditional appointments such as the visit of Santa Claus on 24 December to the Town Hall Square of Mazarrón (from 10am-12pm) and Plaza Toneleros in Puerto de Mazarrón (from 12pm-2pm) and the Cabalgata de Reyes Magos (3 Kings) arrival in Puerto and Mazarrón in the afternoon of January 5 (arrival at the fishing pier at 4pm).

The days before, on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 January, the Royal Mailmen will collect the letters from all the children, between 5pm and 7pm in Plaza Toneleros, Puerto de Mazarrón and between 7pm and 9pm in the Town Hall Square of Mazarrón.

Repeated this year, is Mañana Vieja, a novelty introduced in 2016. Children can finish the year with 12 gummies at 12 in the morning at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento on December 31st, accompanied by a children’s show and games. On January 6, in Cañada de Gallego, there will be a parade with live crib and the performance of the Las Balsicas crew.

The theatre, present in the cultural calendar of the year in Mazarrón, does not fail in this appointment and there will be two performances: on Wednesday, December 27 in the social room of Leiva with “The judge of divorces” and on 6 January In La Majada, the play “The Fiery Mayor” will be staged by the Canalejas group.
