The Department of Commerce of the City of Mazarrón has received a grant from the General Directorate of Commerce of the Region of Murcia for the reactivation and revitalization of the local economy. The mayor responsible for the area, Silvia García, explained that with this subsidy they have organized “three campaigns spread over different periods including Father’s Day, Mother’s Day and Black Friday, with the aim of promoting purchases in the municipality that has a direct impact on businesses and neighbours”.
In order for a business to participate in the initiative, it must officially join the campaign. Silvia García has detailed that “businesses that are in the municipality of Mazarrón with retail sales activities such as clothing, footwear, accessories, home, jewellery, bookstores … will be able to join the first campaign on the occasion of Father’s Day.”.
For this, interested establishments “will have to access the Mazarrón City Council website where they will find the information and registration, which they will complete and send to the email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also call 968 33 93 24 for any questions. The deadline to join the campaign will be from Monday until next Monday, March 8, “announced the mayor.
Silvia García also explained that “these campaigns will be carried out through scratch cards, which the customers of the participating businesses will be able to obtain a scratch card for purchases over € 20, with the possibility to win vouchers of € 20 and €50 to spend in any of the participating establishments”, thus producing a reinvestment of the prizes benefiting the local commerce
