Mazarrón Town Council and the Association of Parents of Children with mental disabilities in Mazarrón (ASPADEM) have signed a collaboration agreement for activities related to the maintenance of the pool that the Association has in the neighborhood of La Cañadica. The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and ASPADEM president, Juan Zamora.

The agreement is that the City will donate the amount of 12,000€ to the Association for the development of the planned activities in the pool for next year. In return, Social Services may make use of the pool with various groups of people.

As explained by the Councillor for Social Policy, Maria Martinez, “the pool is used by members of the Centre for Child Development and Early (CDIAT) Day Centre for the Disabled, Primary Care Centre and also children in schools for the disabled. It was our duty to support ASPADEM to meet the expenses generated by the pool so that all citizens can use these. “
