From May 10 to 19, the San Isidro neighbourhood of Puerto de Mazarrón celebrates its festivities in honour of its patron. The festivities will begin on Friday, May 10 at 9.30pm with the traditional proclamation, which on this occasion will be borne by Juani Torres Méndez, a graduate in teaching and a teacher at CEIP Manuela Romero in Puerto de Mazarrón

The programme includes a wide agenda of activities for all audiences with the musical performances of ‘Nothinham Prisa’, El Luiso, and Zona Azul among others. Isirock will appear on Friday, May 17, with the participation of ‘Coz’, ‘Suite del Diablo’ and ‘Anticyclone’

There will also be space for culture with a tribute to Miguel Hernández, by the theatre group of the University Popular. It will be on Thursday, May 16 at 9.30pm

On Wednesday, May 15, Patron’s day, the mass and procession will be celebrated in honour of San Isidro, starting at 9pm, with the participation of the Drum and Bugle Band of the Parish of San José

During the festivities a tribute will also be paid to the neighbour Encarnación Poyato Lama. It will take place on Saturday, May 11 at 9:30pm

All the acts will take place, as usual, in the Jardin de la Hermita
