Bilbo is a young male dog approximately 18 months old. He is a crossbreed of about 35cm from paw to shoulder.
He was found starving on the campo suffering from leishmaniasis which is a disease carried by sandflies and often found in stray dogs who sleep rough. Bilbo underwent a series of treatments via injections and pills and his leishmaniasis is now under control. As you can see from his ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures his hair has grown back and he has put on weight and is now ready for his new home. Despite his rough start in life he is a very happy, sociable dog who loves human cuddles and playing with other dogs. Why not come along to our shelter to meet him or just take him out for a walk?
Rudi is a German Shepherd cross around 7 years old who has had a very traumatic time. He was found by the police, abandoned on the beach in Aguilas with the most horrendous infection in both ears. This infection had been left untreated for so long he had to undergo a series of operations to remove the infected bone. He has recovered well and is now ready for a new loving home. He would be best in a home without other dogs, but he is a very affectionate dog who loves cuddles and being brushed by our volunteers. If you fancy giving him a home or just taking him for a walk please contact us using details below.
We always need people who are able to foster kittens or puppies in their homes, often at short notice. We also need fosterers able to take in adult dogs who aren’t coping well in kennels.
