Bi-lingual Evangelical Church in Fuente Alamo
You know, it’s fairly easy to be a Christian for a couple of hours on a Sunday morning.
We can scrub up, put on a smart shirt and go along to our local church.
We are assured of a great time of fellowship with other believers.
We can submerge ourselves in a wonderful time of praise and worship as we feel the Lord drawing us close.
We can experience the sheer joy and freedom that only comes from spending time in the presence of a Heavenly Father who loves us.
Belonging to a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church is a vital part of our Christian walk, but being a Christian extends far beyond what we do on Sunday morning.
Being a Christian is just as much about what we do on Monday and how we relate to those around us as we go about our day to day lives. There are often times in our lives when God gives us an opportunity to help others. He will bring people into our lives who need to be shown the love of Christ and we can often do that in simple, practical ways.
People have not changed much over the years. When Jesus was teaching the multitudes 2,000 years ago, He called them “Harassed and helpless; like sheep without a shepherd.”
Our culture today is filled with people who are harassed, frustrated and worried about the issues they face in everyday life. Jesus told us that He can give us a peace unlike anything the world has ever known.
As Christians we can extend this sense of peace to others by helping to ease their burdens and lift their spirits.
Often small acts of kindness can make a significant difference to those who are going through tough times. Helping others during their time of need is a powerful way that we can shine the light of Christ into their lives.
If any of what you have read has struck a chord, why not join us on a Sunday morning? You’ll receive a warm welcome and have a great time. Our services are held mainly in Spanish with simultaneous translation into English via headsets (provided) with parts sometimes in English translated into Spanish.
Our Sunday morning services start at 11.30am at Calle Espinar 13, Fuente Alamo.
