Bi-lingual Evangelical Church in Fuente Alamo
This month I want to talk about a subject that many of us may rather avoid. I want to talk about fear.

Fear is an emotion that we find very difficult to control, but often the fear of something is far worse than the thing we are frightened of.

Most of us are afraid of having to visit the dentist, but modern dentistry with its use of state of the art anaesthetics and sophisticated equipment rarely causes the pain that we associate with visits to the dentists in the past. The dentist isn’t the problem. The fear of the dentist is the problem.

How many of us live in fear of what others think about us? It can have a huge influence on our lives, but we shouldn’t let it.

God did not place us on this earth to live in fear. He loves us, He wants the best for us. His plan is for us to have a life full of joy, hope and fulfilment. His desire is for us to live a fear-free life.

Is the fear of what other people may think the thing that is preventing you from inviting God into your life?
Is that what is stopping you from giving Church a try?
Are you afraid of appearing to be a bit different?

Don’t let the fear of what other people think stop you from being ‘a fear-free you’. Just let go. Think of how much more fun you will have.

Do you have a fear of letting go of the past? Fear of the past can be a big hindrance to moving forward into the future, or is it a fear that Church is outside your comfort zone; something that you won’t fit into?

Why not choose this moment to step out and stop living in fear of what others think about you?

You could be missing so much of what our Heavenly Father has to offer.
Be bold. Step out. Just be you; a fear-free you. You are free to live the life that God chose you to live. There’s no need to be afraid of what anyone else thinks.

Our Sunday morning services start at 11.30am at Calle Espinar 13, Fuente Alamo.
