From Monday, September 23 to Friday, October 4, the registration period
for courses organized by the Universidad de Popular of Mazarrón (UP)
corresponding to the first four-month period is open. The programme has
been presented by the Councillor for Culture, Ginés Campillo, and the
director of the UP, José María López Ballesta.

López Ballesta explained that “in accordance with the demands that
citizens have requested, as well as the mothers, parents of the students
and representatives of the educational centres of the municipality, a
programme has been designed to respond to the needs that have been given
to us, creating, for example, computer courses for children but also
computer science courses for fathers and mothers ”.

In that line of attending to the different groups, “women and children
have been especially taken into account but they have also opted for
activities for all that can be of great interest and very practical for
the development of society these days . This is the case of the new
environmental health course to be developed with the educational centres
for free ”.

More than fifty courses in Computer Science and Business, Languages,
Creativity, Welfare and Education make up a wide programme in which
those interested can sign up by going to the Universidad Popular in the
Cultural Centre of Calle Entierro de la Sardina, Monday to Friday from
9am to 2pm or via the web
