PALS

As Spring is here and Summer rapidly approaches PALS have defined their programme of events with BBQ's on the 1st May (Sold out) and on the evening of 30th some tickets still available at 12€. The popular Summer Ball on 8th June at the Costa Costa with the Gecko Bros, loads of food, drink and dancing music for 27.50€ has coaches available from the Port and urbanisations. Coaches are included for the Picnic in the Park 'dine under the stars' on 27th June 16€. A programme of Rock and Roll nights around the pool and a light supper Mariano's on 12th July, 16th August and 13th September showcases the best music around with just 12€.

A special treat is Jane Cronin's 'Not mentioned in the brochure' at the Playa Grande Hotel on 20th May. This show is traveling the coast and Jane relates through comedy and music the trials and tribulations of buying and living in Spain. Jane is far better known for her Spanish-English language courses and media. Just 12.50€ to find out about 'The moaning Git, Mr and Mrs Naïve and the Man in the Bar'. The final amount raised for the sponsored swim was a magnificent 2863€. Fantastic. We are having a trolley dash in the Summer look out for your opportunity to compete.

We attempt to provide a variety of events throughout the year with the aim of purchasing ancillary medical equipment in the area and negotiations are in hand for this years exciting expenditure and currently we hold 14000€ on deposit specifically reserved for additional equipment at the proposed Camposol Medical Centre.

CAFÉ have two events: D Day at the Steak out on June 4th and Concert for CAFÉ 2 on October. Gill and Chris from Pantry have just given 250€ to the fund. Keep it coming, the more we raise the quicker we can get the ambulance.
