Tranquil environment for complementary therapies and workshops
The Open Mind Centre opened its doors on 3rd May at Campillo de Abajo, between La Pinilla and Cuevas de Reyllo, with over 50 people attending the first day at this new healing and complementary therapy centre.
Taster treatments, tarot and clairvoyant readings, stalls with beautiful crystals, jewellery, books, CDs, Buddha's, aromatherapy soaps, candles and refreshments were all enjoyed in very peaceful surroundings.
Part of the philosophy is to provide an environment to help the mind and body to help itself through therapies and learning. Workshops and talks will be a regular feature at the Centre on a variety of interesting subjects. On Saturday both Julie and Karin gave talks on feng shui and self healing respectively and a workshop on Feng Shui is being planned in the near future.
The calendar is being added to all the time and there are four events already scheduled for May and June. Booking is essential as numbers are limited and early booking is recommended.

The Taster Day offers an ideal opportunity to try a therapy or reading for a small cost. Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Healing for All, Tarrot and Medium readings will be on offer as well as a range of stands including Astrology, Feng Shui, Crystals, Books, CDs, Foot care, Oral Health Advice, runes and remedies, Bach flower remedies, magno- therapy, herbs, plants and more. Other stand space is available for interesting and appropriate products at this and future events.
The Centre already has plans for a Café, Holistic Library, Yoga classes and Meditation Group with many more ideas in the pipeline.
