Did you find it rather hot in August? Here at MAMAs we had to shut for two weeks it was so unbearable. We reopened on 27th August.
We have been out collecting new furniture donations and have lots of clothes, bric-a-brac and other goodies in the shop that you really need!
We seem to be gathering momentum with cat spaying. We do our best to help, but really cannot help with cat colonies. It would be better if the Town Hall was made aware of the problem. That way they can see the problem for themselves and give assistance.
This month we have helped with Turco and his bad skin complaint. He has been treated by the vet, but is still delicate and at the moment isn’t going out very much. With ongoing treatment and care he should make a good recovery.
An update on Cari
If you gave to Cari’s treatment thank you so much. It went a long way towards her first operation. She was taken to a big practice in Madrid and her first operation has taken place. We are now awaiting an update on the results.
The above are examples of the work MAMAs do and it would not be possible without your kind donations in whatever form. Remember Richard is on Camposol B Car Park from 10am-12pm every Tuesday morning. Drop by for a chat and if you wish, you can drop unwanted items off, or make arrangements for bigger items to be collected.
MAMAs is situated in Puerto de Mazarrón, past Lidl carrying straight on until you see Consum. Turn left there and MAMAs is in the third road on the left; Calle San Juan.
