Well after our short break, it’s all systems go. We are open for business as usual and bursting at the seams with furniture, clothes, bric-a-brac, small electricals and much more; all donated by you and with which we would not be able to help out with an unexpected vet bill.
We are struggling to deal with feral cat sterilising requests and would suggest approaching the Town Hall for advice. Of course that does not mean we can’t help owned or rescued cats.
This month we are featuring Luna a lovely dog, much loved by her Spanish owner. Luna was off colour and not herself, so was taken to the vet and found to have kidney stones and had started passing blood so an urgent operation was conducted. It’s still early days for her, but her recovery is progressing and she should soon be back to feeling well again. We hope her local owner will bring her in to see us!
Camposol Car Park B
Each week Richard is on Camposol B lower car park, opposite the petrol garage. You will find him between 10am-12pm every Tuesday morning. He can take donations or arrange pick up of larger items for you.
The shop is situated in Puerto de Mazarrón. Going past the new shopping centre and Lidl, down to the right where you will see Consum Supermarket on the left. Turn there and MAMAs is in the third road on the left; Calle San Juan.
If you require our help, please go to Pacos Vet (Camposol or Puerto de Mazarrón) and ask for a written quote to treat your pet’s problem. Take it to the MAMAs shop in Calle San Juan and leave it with us. It will be considered at a monthly committee meeting and we will endeavour to give at least half if we are not inundated with requests.
