MAMAs are looking for volunteers to help run the charity shop. If you could spare a few hours between Tues-Sat, 11am-2pm, please call in and have a chat.
Ranhja – This poor girl had a terrible infection of her uterus. Her lovely owner was beside himself as he and her have been friends for five years and clearly adored each other. He took her to Paco’s who x-rayed and blood tested her. He found the problem and immediately operated. Another problem was that her owner was out of work and the operation was expensive. He came to MAMAs with a quote for treatment and we were able to help. Ranhja had her uterus removed and this also meant she was safe from getting pregnant, although her owner had taken such good care of her she had managed to evade any would be romeos!
How We Are Able To Help
We couldn’t help any animals if it wasn’t for your donations. We appreciate clean second hand clothes, small working electrical items, any bric-a-brac and of course any furniture you no longer want that we can successfully sell. We can arrange collection if required.
Of course we couldn’t raise funds if you don’t call in to our shop! Why don’t you call and have a browse? We usually have fridges/freezers/dishwashers/dryers etc, so it’s always worth a visit.
Where Are We?
You will find the shop in Puerto de Mazarrón, past Lidl and Mercadona, down the hill coming to Consum on the left with the O’Clock Bar on the corner. Turn left here and travel up to the third street on the left, Calle San Juan, which is opposite a small church and park. We are just on the left on that calle.
Drop Off Point
Every Tuesday Richard is on lower car park Camposol B, from 10am-12am. You could drop off any bits and pieces for him to fetch back to the shop or to organise the collection of any larger pieces.
