Hello to all our friends and supporters.
After a shaky start, it would seem that summer is just around the corner. It’s a time to remember our pets and give a little extra care: Never leave your dog in the car,
Remember that the floor gets blisteringly hot – not forgetting sand!
Make sure their water bowl is out of the sun and always fresh.
These are obvious really, but just meant as gentle reminders.
Toby – Our little dog this month has been less than healthy for most of his life. A lot of abandoned animals don’t get a good start in life and this can show up with health problems later on. His owners have tried their best, but with other dogs to care for him, costs were getting prohibitive so they approached MAMAs to aid them. We don’t have an update, but we hope that all is much better.
We couldn’t help cases like this if it wasn’t for your generous donations and all your purchases from our shop. Every item has value and we have bric-a-brac for a few cents to beautiful and stylish furniture. If you have any items you don’t want, please drop them off either at the shop in the Puerto de Mazarrón, on Calle San Juan. This is past the Mercadona and Lidl stores, down the hill towards the port, turning left at Consum and the O’Clock Bar. The turn is 2nd on the left opposite a small park. You could also drop items off to Richard, who stands every Tuesday from 10am-12pm on Camposol B car park, or you can make arrangements for larger items to be collected.
We advertise on Murcia Today under MAMAS Resales, with a small selection of the items we have in stock. We have a lot of furniture and beds, so check us out. Our stock changes by the week so why not call in as you are passing? It could be the week that we have what you really need!
