Norwegian Per Stokken flew the flag for Scandinavia at Los Nietos Golf Society’s monthly competition.
Twenty-three handicapper Per scored 35 Stableford points to head a 23-man field in the December tournament at Roda.

Pat also picked up the prize for Nearest the Pin on hole 13 and 13 handicapper Iain Furniss was Nearest the Pin at the seventh.
11 handicapper Trevor Beechey was Nearest the Pin with his second shot to the 15th and John Oliver, playing off 24, hit the Longest Drive on hole eight.
Veteran Tom Wall was presented with the society’s Samurai Sword as the Captain’s Player of the Month.
After the golf the players were joined by wives, partners and friends for a presentation dinner at El Fraile Bar and Restaurant, Los Nietos.
The next LNGS event is at Lo Romero on Wednesday January 6th, First tee 11.04am  – green fee and buggy 40€.
On Wednesday February 3rd Altoreal is the venue with an 11.04am start – 35€ including buggy.

On Wednesday March 3rd (12 noon) the monthly competition is at La Peraleja – 30€ including buggy.
