This championship will be held from August 5 to 8, at night due to high temperatures
The First Spanish Purebred Morphological Contest ‘Villa de Mazarrón’,  organized by the Virgen del Milagro Equestrian Club with the collaboration of the Mazarrón City Council will be held in the district of Leiva from August 5 to 8 at night due to the high temperatures expected for those dates and so that the horses can compete in the best conditions. 

María Martínez Pinar explained that “the contest will welcome participants from all over Spain, and the Spanish Horse will be judged in two parts – in the first the horse will go by hand and in the second the mounted horse will be valued, the first classified will participate in the highest national contest of Spanish Horse, with this contest we intend to get to know this discipline of riding and give it visibility ”.

Francisco José García, Councillor for Sports has stated that “this event will be held thanks to the commitment of this Club and many of the people from Mazarron who come to practice horse riding.” He also added that “we hope that our neighbours are encouraged to come and enjoy this new competition in the municipality, always respecting the health measures imposed by the pandemic.”
