From the Department of Tourism, together with those of Culture, Celebrations and Youth, an extensive programme of activities has been prepared for this summer 2020. One of the offerings from Tourism is the installation of a summer cinema on the La Isla Beach, every Tuesday, during the months of July and August, with screenings at 22:00.

Raquel Raja, responsible for the area, explained that “our goal is for both residents and visitors to enjoy the activities that we have prepared with much effort and that, because we are facing a different summer, we need to respect the measures of security and distancing during COVID-19 at all times. Hence, the activity has a special protocol for carrying it out. ”

Raja added that “the screenings of the summer cinema began last week with the screening of the movie ‘Chicken Run, Escape on the Farm’.” In this way, and if circumstances allow, “every Tuesday a film will be shown, aimed at all audiences and with limited capacity,” added the mayor.

The order and date of the following films to be screened will be as follows:
July 7: ‘Billy Elliot’
July 14: ‘The Little Prince’
July 21: ‘Palm trees in the snow’
July 28: ‘Life is beautiful’
August 4: ‘Young Frankenstein’
August 11: ‘Spartacus’
August 18: ‘GRU2’
August 25: ‘The coup’
