Latest News From Camposol Residents Association

Just a brief update to let you know what’s happening with regards the activities we are involved in.

Court Case for Fraud is with the court in Totana and we are awaiting an update.

Murcia Transparente are setting up a Camposol Commission and they have started a website which will be updated on a regular basis with news of outstanding issues for other Urbanisations as well as Camposol. Murcia Transparente are also producing a report for the Ministry of Agriculture and Water which will raise awareness at national level as to the issues on Camposol.

Blaya Blaya a former Mayor of Camposol will be appearing before the Regional Camposol Commission. We are awaiting dates. His appearance means that the report on Camposol is being delayed so as his testimony can be incorporated into the Commissions’ report. The vote on the Commission report has therefore been delayed.

A resident of Camposol has been ill in hospital recently with pneumonia and is now back home. The Environmental Agency will be paying a visit to his home to see if his water is contaminated and is the source of his illness.

Seprona the environmental arm of the Guardia Civil has been active in gathering information about the state of sewage and water on Camposol.

The Town Hall has some political issues to resolve as a result of a resignation from the Coalition and a Special Pleno called to question the Mayoress and some departmental heads on what they have or have not been doing. Awaiting the minutes and report to be produced.
