Fire Fighters –v- Police Competition
This Annual Competition took place on 6th September with team Captains Lloyd Roberts for the Fire Fighters and John Layland for the Police. 68 participants took part and the Police team wore blue and the Fire Fighters red.
The event was as fun packed as ever, with lots of banter, especially after the game which ended with the Firemen losing 7 games to the Policemen’s 10. This is the 10th year this annual event has been played and the first time that the ladies have taken part. The Firemen and the Policemen who flew over especially to play have resolved to come back again next year.
This will be at The Club house on Friday 8th November. All the monies raised are for our nominated local charities FAST, MABS and Forget Me Not who help the residents of Camposol so much. Entrance will be 5€ with an optional supper of Chicken Curry/Chilli & rice for 5€. We hope you will assist us again by taking part, having a fun evening whilst boosting funds for these very worthy charities. The signup sheets will be displayed shortly and an email circulated with more details asking for your support.
