What a great start to 2019!
At our first dance of the year we had a new name to entertain us; Brian Tindall, who travelled all the way from Benidorm where he is a big favourite in the Red Dog Saloon. He gave us both traditional and more up to date country music and kept everyone interested with his ‘talks’ before each song. This was his first time, but definitely not his last! If future dances are as good we’ll be happy!
At our next dance on Friday 1st February, our Spanish friends Los Alacranes return to provide the live music. They are a 6 piece band with fiddle, banjo, accordion, guitar, drums and a double bass made from an old cigar case! Not to be missed!
We have a dance on the 1st Friday of each month in Mariano’s, Camposol A. Starting at 7.45pm, requests are played until 9pm when the live music commences. Mariano’s has the biggest dance floor in the area; big enough to accommodate all types of dancing at the same time.
Entry is only €4. If you haven’t been before, come along as a stranger and leave as a friend!
Our dance on 1st March coincides with our 6th birthday and local favourite Christine will help us celebrate.
Ann and Roy’s Line Dancing Classes continue each Wednesday and Thursday in The Social Centre, Camposol B.
