NEWS UPDATE
We at JJ's Puppy Rescue Association have had an extremely difficult six weeks since we were informed that John Kemp had decided to sell the land on which our kennels were situated to a local business man, despite the fact we have a document signed by John Kemp offering us the land to purchase over a 10 year period, and for which we had already commenced payments of some 2000€.
We were given just 30 days to home as many of the 59 puppies at the kennels as possible.
We would like to thank Jayne Ashley Chase, Gisela, Anja and Herma from A New Life 4 Spanish Animals and Denia Dogs for all the help, care and assistance that they have given us at this very traumatic time. Between them they have managed to find places for 27 puppies, most of which have already gone to Germany, just leaving the last few to travel shortly.
This, together with the puppies that we have managed to home, has left just 22 puppies for John Kemp to care for.
UNFORTUNATELY, AT THE PRESENT TIME, WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE IN ANY PUPPIES WHATSOEVER. The reason for this is that we have NO KENNELS. We already have some 19 puppies in private foster care and three in boarding kennels. OUR MOST URGENT PRIORITY AT THIS STAGE IS TO CONSERVE OUR RESOURCES TO ENABLE US TO START AGAIN, WITH OUR OWN KENNELS, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We are actively looking for land, so if you know of any which might be suitable please do let us know.
We are also looking for more committed people to join us to help with Fund Raising and Publicity. If you have some time to spare to help with this very necessary cause, please call us on 618 390 791. Thank you.
Our Charity Shop at Puerto de Mazarrón is open from Monday to Saturday, 10.00 until 2.00 and any donations of unwanted items are always welcome.
Alternatively the van is in the Car Park at Camposol Sector B on Tuesday mornings from 11.00 until 1.00 for collections and deliveries. Please phone 676 112 336 in advance. The number at the shop is 968 594 922.
WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AT THIS TIME AND HOPE TO BE TAKING IN ABANDONED PUPPIES AGAIN IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.
